Shredded Chicken Tacos Recipe.

Happy Taco Tuesday! Here is a straightforward recipe.

If you want to grill your chicken instead of boiling/pressure cooking, that's fine, too!


Grill or pan-sear your flour tortillas before forming your tacos!

Chicken Breast Recipe

Buying a store-bought rotisserie chicken is a time-saving option. I recommend getting one from Costco for $5. I've never bought one because I love cooking, but it's a great option.


Pico Recipe


Ingredients:

  • Chicken Breast Recipe

  • Pico Recipe

  • Flour Tortillas (Mission) Soft Taco

  • Monterey Jack Shredded Cheese

  • Chipotle Sauce (Taco Bell)

  • Sliced Limes

Directions:

  1. Start by making your chicken.

  2. While your chicken is cooking, start making your Pico.

  3. Refrigerate your Pico.

  4. Grill or pan-sear your tortillas.

  5. Shred your chicken with two forks or use a low-speed stand mixer.

  6. Form tacos. Add chicken, followed by cheese. Melt cheese in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. Add Pico and Chipotle Sauce.

  7. Enjoy!


I didn't make any sides with this recipe. The tacos were still outstanding. The combo between Chipotle Sauce and Pico made this taste good. If you've never had Chipotle Sauce, I recommend trying it first. You can always swap out sauces. You could use Taco Bell Mild Sauce or a Salsa Verde!
