Homemade Salad Bar. Simple Gadgets For Home Cooking!
Today, while deciding what to make for dinner, I thought I should write a blog post featuring some gadgets I use quite often in the kitchen. I was going to add affiliate links directly to this post, but I will save that for a future post! Just get in the habit of checking my blog posts or storefronts for product reviews! This blog will showcase simple gadgets for home cooking success.
I was making something with chicken breast, and at the last minute I decided to set up a salad bar just for the picture. I'm that extra, and my picture and salad didn't disappoint.

Simple Gadgets
Food Thermometer:

You can use this for your oil temperature, your protein temperature, and water temperature for baking! Such a great tool to have! Linked in my Amazon storefront. www.amazon.com/shop/jalenprimus
Baking Sheet With Wire Rack:

I got this from Walmart! Using a wire rack prevents your food from getting soggy! The excess oil will drip off, allowing your food to stay crispy.
Salad Spinner:

Another Walmart banger! Self-explanatory, but this salad spinner is great for cleaning produce.
Produce Container:

This container is from Costco. I use this for fruits and vegetables, but today I had a vision of a salad bar, and it worked out really well.

Stainless Steel Bowls:

I use these bowls every week! Visit my Amazon storefront.
I added raisins, croutons, bacon bits, cucumbers, shredded cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce to the container for my salad bar! I decided to try Popeye's Blackened Ranch for my dressing.
